ClixSense - make any sense?
I don’t know whether i should promote this program now or not, as this program was just recently launched - in fact, it was only launched like 2 days back. If you are in the online money making scene 1-2 years back, you should have heard of the pay-per-click-and-view concept. No, it’s nothing like Google Adsense’s pay-per-click concept, where you get paid when somebody else clicked on the ads on your side. In this, you logged in to their system, click on the list of available ads, view until the timer runs down, and you get paid. Interested already?
Enter ClixSense, a company aim at getting ads to serve and paying people to view the ads. The concept is kinda simple - register, verify, login, view, click, view, get money. Confused?

3rd week with paid blogging
I’m in 3rd week doing paid blogging. Here’s the recap so far:
Blogitive - 7 approved posts - US$35 (all paid to my Paypal account - Blogitive paid weekly)
Blogsvertise - 6 approved posts - US$67.50 (pending - Blogsvertise pay monthly)
PayPerPost - 3 approved posts (of 5 submitted posts) - US$32 (pending - PayPerPOst pay monthly)
ReviewMe & TextLinkAds - blog not popular enough wor…applications not approved
So far so good, I almost hit my RM500 target by end of February. I’m currently about US$8.50 short off the target, but that shouldn’t be a problem once PayPerPost approves my other 2 posts
I’ll probably keep challenging myself with new target next month, and see what I can get out of this ![]()
SEO-ing time
I haven’t touched about SEO yet, although it plays quite an important role in making money with your blog/website. I don’t much remember what I did with this blog SEO-wise, except to change the default Wordpress ID (e.g ?p=302) URL links to SEO-friendly URL link. I guessed that helps in getting the search engines to index your site even better. Just take an example of my recent post about the ASB loan. Somehow, I think this blog template helps as well - please bear in mind that this blog is only 2 weeks old.

PayPerPost - Approved
Now that my main blog is PayPerPost-approved, what do i do next? I have grabbed 2 opportunities and already written about them. Maybe I’ll write another one before the clock turns 12pm later to complete 3 opps/day quota. Or maybe I’ll just leave it for today and comes back to blog again when I got back from Kelantan this Saturday.

New way to make money using Wordpress
I was browsing thru the Blogitive’s members blog when I saw this headline - A New Way to Make Money Coming Soon but only on Wordpress Blogs with your own Domain. Naturally, I am excited - because lately, I didn’t get much task from Blogitive. Any new thing is always exciting to me, so I guessed I’m going to wait for it to happen. However, it only apply for members with Wordpress installed on their own domain - so that means those hosting with Wordpress.com would have to find a way to get their own domain & hosting and install Wordpress on them.
But then again, if you want to be blogging for money, you’d better off getting your own place. I mean, your own hosting and domain names. At least, you don’t have to lose sleep at night should Blogger or Wordpress decided to take down your blog for no reason at all. That happens, and you certainly don’t want that to happen to you too, right?

Never forget to renew your domain name
For all of you who owns your own domain name, and have work hard to get the proper audience and traffic, i have one advice for you: Never, EVER, forget to renew your domain name. Better yet - if you domain name provider allows you to auto-renew your domain name, make sure you sign up for it - it will save you the hassle and headache in the future in case you forgets to renew your domain name and it expires without you knowing it.
I guessed I learned this the hard way. I have one domain name that recently expired and I didn’t know about it, and I forgot to turn on the auto-renew feature in the domain name control panel. And I lost that domain name now
How did that happened?

RM500 by end of February
When i started off blogging for money on February 6th, i set a little target for myself to achieve by the end of the month. As per everything else, you need to set a target of what you want to achieve within the specific time-frame. Else, you wouldn’t know if whatever you are working on is going to make it.

First week with paid blogging
I started blogging for money on my main blog on last week Monday - 5th February. As of today, it’s already one week since i started. Let’s recap what i’ve got so far:
Blogitive - 7 approved posts - US$35 (all paid to my Paypal account - Blogitive paid weekly)
Blogsvertise - 6 approved posts - US$57.50 (pending - Blogsvertise pay monthly)
PayPerPost - still pending blog approval - US$0 ![]()
ReviewMe & TextLinkAds - blog not popular enough wor…
As of this week, I haven’t gotten much task from Blogitive & Blogsvertise. I’m looking at CreamAid, but there’s not much topic to write on and the payout is too low for me to even be interested. Anybody else have anything else for me to try? Anything that pays US$10/post would be good… ![]()
Loan for ASB investment
I guessed I never really wrote about this at all. Amanah Saham Bumiputera, or ASB, is one unit trust that’s created specifically for Bumiputera people in Malaysia. I guessed ASB itself need no introduction as most of the non-Malay friends that I knew heard about ASB before. With relatively high incentive percentage rate, it makes most investors drool at it.
But that’s not the main point for the discussion. I’ll be touching more on ASB loans offered by some banks such as Maybank and Bumiputera Commerce Bank. A lot of people I know were put off by having the idea of taking loans to save money. But I have my points.
