Kontera

I have registered for Kontera and already got my account approved. Yes, you may be wondering how I can get my application for Kontera approved as it needs like 500k of page impression per month to qualify. My main blog only has like 10k page impression per month.

How? Well, luckily I signed up for Joel Comm’s and was let in to Kontera without much problem. The reviewer just need to know that I am one of Joel Comm’s “friend” and they’ll let me in regardless what kind of traffic i get per month.

Before I get any further, some of you maybe asking what’s Kontera. If you see any words with double-line under it in this or my main blog, that’s Kontera’s ContentLinks. It work like Google’s Adsense, except that the links are embedded on to the articles itself. I haven’t actually play around with it much, so I don’t know how this really work yet. I’ll get more info and post more of them here :)

For those that use WordPress I have created a plugin that makes adding Kontera’s ContentLinks to your WordPress blog a breeze. The plugin makes it easy to add the necessary Kontera JavaScript and has options to control the placement of the ContentLink ads.
