PayPerPost – Approved

Now that my main blog is PayPerPost-approved, what do i do next? I have grabbed 2 opportunities and already written about them. Maybe I’ll write another one before the clock turns 12pm later to complete 3 opps/day quota. Or maybe I’ll just leave it for today and comes back to blog again when I got back from Kelantan this Saturday.

I’ve been taking only opps with at least US$10 lately – not that I’m a snob or something, but I really want to test how many US$10s i can take in one day. With PayPerPost 3 posts/day quota, if I took opps less than US$10 each, I won’t really get much. At least with US$10 opps, i can get at least US$30 (about RM105) everyday by writing at least 6 blog posts. Not bad considering I’m doing this only during my free time.

For now, I only have 1 approved blog, and if i can write up to the limit quota (3 per day), I can get US$30 with US$10 each. That’s

US$30 x 30 days = US$900

if I write everyday. That’s more than my starting salary 5 yrs ago. What if I have, like, 7-8 approved blogs (like Lilian) and wrote all 21-24 sponsored posts a day? I could already ditch my day job and be full-time blogger and have loads of money! :)

Now, let’s go see what other domain names that I can buy….hmmm…

Well it was not easy getting 3, much less 6 blogs, approved by PPP. They seem to be very strict about it.

menj – let’s try whatever we can :) i mean, as long as the blogs met their requirements, i’m going to submit them :)
Oh – i’m adding you to my blogroll :)

if you can make money blogging, good luck to you. i’ve yet to find a way but am planning to approach local sponsors directly for banner ads.

but i honestly get a bit pissed off by all these “how much money can i make blogs” now proliferating to the point of mind-numbing boredom on PPS …

in the end it’s the quality of the content that matters to your readers, not how much you managed to sell your soul for

bibliobibuli – i get your point there. perhaps I shouldn’t ping PPS in the first place with posts from this blog. But then again, you wouldn’t know about this blog rite? :) I make it a point not to ping PPS for all those sponsored posts – only posts that i wrote un-sponsored that i pinged PPS. sometimes you never know if your content helps other people – i’m just making them available.

maybe you can consider TextLinkAds for your blog – you’ve great contents there, and you do quite well in Google PR! :) You could get up to US$25/link/month there…

yes. i obviously must have been interested in making money else i wouldn’t have followed the link either … haha

thanks for the advice … i think the ads i’d like are from local bookshops and publishers … wonder if i could get them to cut me a deal (am i brave enough to ask?)

[...] Come to think of it, i have been with PayPerPost for about 1 week now, after this blog entry got the approval from them. I haven’t been writing much – still trying to figure out what is and what’s not with PayPerPost. From the past 1 week, I have taken 6 opps (including this one) – all the opps that I took are at least US$10 – the reason I do so is explained in my other blog. [...]
