Never ever use a weak password
I have learn my lesson again - to never ever use a weak password. I don’t know whether the fact that my password was weak that got i got my main blog hacked, but I surely think that somebody’s out to get me.
In order for you to get a good password, you should at least 8 characters in length - 10 would be the optimum one. Mixed between characters and numbers and special characters as well. The guideline would be to have at least one special character, one small letter, one capital letter and one number in your password.
Also, never use anything from the dictionary as your password, no matter how hard the word is. Using brute-force method, any password using words from dictionary can be retrieved within minutes. Also, avoid using any characters or numbers that may be associated to you, like your car plate number or your identification card number. Also, never use the same password for all the sites that you been to, especially if the same password was used to access your Internet banking account.
Now that you know, please do me a favour and get yourself a better and stronger password. With what have happened to me, I’ve since changed all my 5 blogs password - all different and hopefully, strong enough. I’ll keep changing my password once in a while, just in case.
