How to build and maintain your blog audience?

OK, so you’ve got your blog up, and you start posting. You liked your blog so much that you decided to let other people know about it as well. People start coming in the first few days, you got your traffic and some readers, and you started to feel like people starting to like your blog. You post again, hoping for more traffic and more readers to come in, but the only thing that you see is the traffic get lesser, and you don’t have any much readers left anymore.

Why? Maybe the interest is not there any more. Maybe the topics are not interesting enough to attract people to stay. Maybe your blog template drives the readers away. Maybe you don’t socialise much. Maybe you could use some of the tips highlighted in this article - “27+1 Tips for Building and Maintaining a Blog Audience” to gain some insights on how you could build and at the same time, maintain your current readers.

One of the ways to get traffic, if you have the cash, is to pay other people to promote you. SponsoredReviews is one sure way to get people to review about your site, and at the same time, promote your site and increase traffic to your site. You may not retain all of the traffic, but if you could maintain, say, 50% of the driven traffic, you’ll still get decent traffic and readership each day. And that would really depends on what you wrote, and at what interval and frequency of update as well. Like always - content is king! No content, no readers. No readers, no traffic. No traffic, you may lose interest to blog eventually. That will lead to the destruction of the blog, and the destructor is none other than yourself. So, be wise!
