How to build and maintain your blog audience?

OK, so you’ve got your blog up, and you start posting. You liked your blog so much that you decided to let other people know about it as well. People start coming in the first few days, you got your traffic and some readers, and you started to feel like people starting to like your blog. You post again, hoping for more traffic and more readers to come in, but the only thing that you see is the traffic get lesser, and you don’t have any much readers left anymore.

I so wanna be a pro-blogger!

I have been, on many occasions, tempted to just quit my job and be a full time pro-blogger, and make money off the Internet, from home. I had always wanted to go back to further my study, but I don’t want to be doing it part time and still working full time. It’s tiring, and I seriously don’t want to go into that.

I got my first SponsoredReview! :)

Yeah, i made it sound like it’s a very big deal, but it really is for me. After multiple failed attempt, I finally got an advertiser from SponsoredReview who’s interested in me writing review for them :) It’s definitely a start, and hopefully more to come in the future as well.

On who’s asking me to do and on which blog, you’ll see it yourself soon enough once i start writing. I have until April 27th to write it, so i’m going to think thoroughly what to write first and concentrate on writing later. Got work to do! :)

Fengshui in Adsense

Sometimes I do wonder, is there such a thing as fengshui in Adsense? I haven’t got much luck with Adsense - even with some very nice thought-out templates, i’m still getting meagre clicks from Adsense. And while I didn’t get much traffic to start with, I could start seeing some changes in Adsense clicks in my accounts these days.

I got an email earlier today from Nuffnang, which goes like this:

Yay! Finally I’ll get advertisements served by Nuffnang! So, i thought that the advertisements are already served, and I go to my main blog, and i found - Nuffnang public ads. Ermm… Am I missing something here?

I’ll wait until tomorrow, and see if the ads eventually showed up at my blog, as I can’t see anything yet from my Nuffnang member console. Can any kind soul pls enlightened me? :)
