Review: United States Flag Store

Let’s do something for a change today - let’s get a website, and we shall do a review about it. United States Flags Store uses the typical Yahoo Store layout - typical, but safe layout. Nothing much fanciful on the first screen itself. Apparently, there’s quite good use of featured item pictures on the front page that makes me want to click further inside, particularly the “Pins, Patches & Decals” - possibly because I loved collecting pins.

On to the product offering itself, the store is nothing short of flags & products related to flags. Main focus would be the sale of US flags, where you can get the different kinds of flags in all kinds of shapes. Besides American flags, you could also find flags from any countries in the world (at least from what I’ve seen), religious flags and even flags of yesteryears which would be beneficial in learning history.

To complement flags, the store carries indoor & utdoor flagpoles as well. Of course, you’ve got to know how tall you’d want the flagpoles to be - the store carries up to 80ft tall flagpoles.

Navigation around the site isn’t that hard - typical for stores using Yahoo Store as their interface. Personally, the store layout by itself is ok - it’s just the delivery & shipping part that I’d like them to improve on. Besides shipping to the US states only, maybe they could consider shipping internationally as well - that way, they’d have more exposure and would eventually make more sales.
