Renting out

I never rented out a place for myself, although i have helped my friends to find tenants for their house. Some of my friends that lived out of states usually get me to help them advertise their house for rent. Most of the time, all I did was to visit convenience stores like 7-11 and advertise it over there. I’m aware of the Internet service for renting out house - i’ve seen them in action.

I guessed by advertising online, you reach a bigger target area. There’s a lot of people I know who look for house to rent online - i was one of them previously - so I can vouch for the usability. The problem with advertising online is you have to know where to do it, and how to do it. Of course - the cost involved and the traffic that you’ll be getting is counted too.

Rentals.com ease you from those worries. With 3 different plans to suit your budget, you can be sure that it will help you rent out your house fast. Only if I can find houses to rent out to use their service now…. hmmmm at least that will get me some pocket money! :)

Cash in tickets

I have never knew that i can do this. There’s a friend, distance friend, who approached me recently (via email) asking me to join him in doing portal for selling tickets online. Much like TicketXcess or something like that - where people can actually purchase tickets like def leppard tickets online and just collect them at the concert venue.

I can see the business idea, but I don’t know if we could compete with other established contenders in the market. Besides, Malaysians are really not into buying stuffs online - let alone booking ticket or show concerts online and paying them online as well. Well, I don’t know what happened to the business venture anyway - i turned down his invitation using time as excuse - i seriously could use more time to do my own stuffs! With intermittent Internet connection at home, I could really use whatever time I have at home to do more productive things.

Time - if we just can stop time to do all our stuffs.

Virtual travelling

I’ve never been to the United States. Although I’m working for one company which the headquarters is located in one of the states in the US, I’ve never physically been there. And to make it a double whammy, I’ve been assigned to somehow virtually visit the place where the headquarters is in - Texas. So San Antonio, here I come.

OK - what to see and do there in San Antonio? Definitely - first things first - get a place in one of the available San Antonio Hotels - you want to be having a place to rest after long days of travelling, right?

Once we have figured out where to sleep, we can start checking out what’s available in San Antonio. If you like weird stuffs, Plaza Wax Museum & Ripley’s Believe It Or Not maybe something worth to check out. Movie buffs should feel at home right away with San Antonio Imax Theater Rivercenter - six-story-high screen with a stereo sound system - movie buff’s wet dream.

For those who loves history, there’s always museums for you to visit - in fact, there’s a few for you to start with. Kids should loved the SplashPark and Children’s Museum - now, that’s 2 reasons not to grow up! :) With that in mind, i’m really looking forward to visiting San Antonio. If I didn’t take up this assignment, I wouldn’t know what i’d missed!

Serious, please…

Got to get back on track this month. Been too lazy lately to be writing anything. Not a good sign though, as laziness = no money in my PayPal account. Which essentially equals to lesser money to spend. I think I’m just giving myself a lot of excuses of not taking much things to write paid posts. That’ll have to change.

How? PayU2Blog actually has a bunch of topics for me to write, and I intend to complete them all. At least that somehow keeps me busy and gives me some ideas on what to write. At least, i don’t have to resort to dropping chandeliers on my head to get some kind of ideas to write. That’ll be bloody hazardous.

So, please expect more of me - else, please feel free to hentam me with a sledgehammer :)

More Nuffnang ads

Nuffnang is really good at getting advertisers. First it’s just normal advertisers, then they managed to grab those big names like Pensonic & now Firefly. If you haven’t noticed yet, there’s a Firefly ad on top of this blog. And I think it looks good :) Good enough to attract clicks, I guessed - but you’ll never know for sure as you can see the clicks info real time. Hmm… when would Nuffnang deals up with some goverment agencies and have something to help with drug rehabs?

But it’s always good to know that at least, we could have a decent continuous income with Nuffnang. Maybe not much, but at least it’s better than none. I’m looking forward to getting my first Nuffnang check, what’s more with the lower payout threshold. I don’t know when I’ll reach the RM50 payout requirement, but I’m definitely looking forward to it.

Will try to keep more visits coming to my sites for as long as I could :)

PayPerPost - target US & UK market only?

I noticed lately there’s a lot of opps in PayPerPost, but it’s just that they have this additional condition in the requirement - only US or UK blog may write on some particular opps. And those opps are the higher paying ones. I don’t know if it’s some kind of preferential treatment around here, but it somehow annoys me to not be able to take an opps that I’m technically qualified.

Maybe it’s partly related to the intermittent Internet connection in my home too, but i’m starting to feel like there’s less opps for me to take lately, and lesser things for me to write. While I still have stuffs to write, i don’t think i’m gonna hit my previous months target again and save some money for investment property.

I guessed I have to just keep on writing, money or no money :)

Brilliant hot idea

Haze all around, and it’s not making the weather any cooler. If possible, I’d like to have a fan that’s attached to me that keeps on blowing cool air at my direction. Maybe I should get that, or maybe invent one, since I can’t really find that kind of fan in the market.

Maybe I should try Farreys.com and see what are the choices I have. The only time that I really need a fan would be while I’m not in the office, at home or in my car. Which means it would be the times when I’m out of these 3 places. Which essentially means while I’m walking to my car, to office and back home.

It must be something practical, and easy to carry around. Hmm… maybe I’ll add that water sprinkler-type of fan too for the mist factor. Just maybe 

Hard being rich

It’s sometimes hard being rich. When you are rich, everyone wants to come and be your friend. Worst, some of them wants to just use you, scam and just milk the money out of you. Some even goes out to the extend of claiming that you and them had children together, when you can’t even remember if you’ve seen the girl before.

This is especially true if you are the playboy-type - the type who’ll always play & flirt around with girls. The only way to clear your name would probably to undergo a DNA or paternity test to prove that you are not the father or something to the children. But then again, the damage is already done - even if you are cleared with the DNA test, your name will still be stained with the allegations.

Best is, just stay the way you are :) Not that I’m rich though :)
