Is blogging dead?

I read 5xmom’s latest post on her verdict that blogging is dead. It kinda really got me thinking – is it really so? I thought blogging was all about expressing whatever that’s in your head? And that – your ideas – is never dead, well, not until you die, at least.

So instead of letting the real estate flipping your mind with whether blogging is dead, why not we just keep it going? I mean, just blogging, for the sake of blogging. I know of some , like what 5xmom said, of the people who seen ads as sins and should be cast away in the deepest hell possible. Seriously, there’s always CPM ads that earns them money without needing people to click or do anything. Just cash in on the traffic.

I don’t have that privilege – i don’t have thousands page views daily. I don’t have followers. I don’t really have commenters. What i just have is the blog, and my brain to pour out what it thinks. And that’s it. And I think that it’s nothing wrong to be sacrificing a bit of my blog real estate for those ads. Especially those CPM ads – since they pay per impression.

Well – maybe we can’t change their principle. But if they re-think and could use some affiliate links, i have mine right here. Hehehe
