Doing it for good…
This post by Lilian has made me act on whatever i want to do faster. What do i want to do in the first place? I want to get out of the pay-to-blog programs that didn’t offer me anymore opportunities to write. Or rather, nothing interesting to even consider taking. Mostly it’s just some casino thingy.
Which somehow makes me think - they are getting more and more desperate for business and think lesser of the quality? I think they start selling engraved plaques, that would probably made them more money. I don’t know - i’m not exactly in the marketing side.

I’m going to do it!
I have had it. I’m going to do it. I’m going to do it soon enough. I’m going to start with those near to me. Oh oh… it’s definitely not home insurance quotes. I’m going to do it, and i’m going to do it good. I don’t know how i really want to do it yet, but what i know is this thing i have to do is long overdue.
If i don’t do it now, I don’t know if i’ll have the courage or the willpower to do it later on. What i know for now, i have to do it. What is all the fuss? You’ll find out what i do soon. And i hope that hardword will show.
OD way to ASB investment?
I was just reading something about investing in ASB the other day when another topic somehow distract me from my reading. While it’s still discusses about investing in ASB, but it touches on a topic that i don’t already know yet. So far, i’ve known the few ways you can make money investing in ASB - hard-saving your own money, or take loan to invest in ASB. But using overdraft, or OD in short, to invest in ASB - now that’s something new that i haven’t really heard about.
The premise is simple - you take money out of your OD account at about 6%/annum interest, put in ASB and earn something like 8%/year dividend. While i don’t really have the details yet (still working out the budgeting and planning on this), i saw how the calculations was made and i must say that i’m kinda impressed.

Time to get back to work - CNY’s over
At the time of writing, it’s the 5th day of Chinese New Year. According to a few astrology articles and books that i read, it’s the best day to get back to work or re-open for business. Don’t ask me why - i’m just merely quoting what i’ve read over the past few days related on Chinese New Year. It makes interesting read, but i don’t really look or bother to count which date is the most auspicious for me to get back to work. For me, it’s just another day. It would probably made some difference if i’m working for myself i.e my own business. But since i’m not going to own Vegas hotel anytime soon, i think it’s best i just follow the usual calendar days.
Same goes to my blogging. I’ve been in the area where it’s out of Internet for the past few days, and been busy the past week with some last-minute Chinese New Year shoppings. Got to catch up with the assignments that’s being assigned to me - i still need some of those writing money 
While trying as much as possible to blend them in, i’m also working on getting my traffic in and hopefully, Google PR up as well. Working on that for now.
Sex sells again
I know sex sells, and it becomes more prevalent these days with the appearance of a certain Hongkong male artist with several female artistes, engaging in various sexual acts. While the topic become hot SEO topic these days, with those sites taking advantage of the keywords to drive traffic to their sites. I know - it’s just purely business and besides, sex sells
While this does not help the real estate agent to sell more properties, but definitely, those taking advantages of the current search trend will definitely take the bait and try to drive traffic by using obvious keywords like pictures and the names of the artistes involved in the scandal. I wouldn’t say that I’m a saint by not mentioning those keywords here and drive the traffic to this blog - in fact, i was planning on doing so in one of my blogs. But I figure, why do i put more grief in people’s misery?

Tweaking ads
I started tweaking the Adsense ads in my Chicks Galore! to see if I can get any difference in CTR. This is part of my site tweaking to see if i can maximise or at least, get some more out of my blogs. Currently, i have many ideas running off my head like i just open up Delta faucets and let it run. What did i do first?
I tried different ad format, which i’ve used before previously. I’ll just leave the ads there for 1-2 weeks and see if there’s any difference in clicks. Of course, i’ve got to consistently update the blog and work on the keywords that got people to land on the blogs as well. Without that, there’s no traffic - without traffic, there won’t be any clicks, and if there’s no click, obviously there’s no money.
See if i got any luck with those
Free is not always the way to go
Some people are telling others that they are making money online selling funny t-shirts. And they appear to say it like they are very professional and expert in it. They wrote everything in order and very well, and they throw in other money making tips that, according to the sites, will make you a few million dollars. Sounds promising? The only problem is that the sites are still hosted on those free sites like blogspot or wordpress.com.
First things first, those free sites already make you lose your credibility. What makes you think people will believe that you thousands of dollars online when you are still using blogspot blogs to write on and not even your own domains? First tip of making money online, especially if you want people to believe you, is getting your own domain and hostings, and write all you want about your money-making adventure.

Keyword driving traffic
Only a few things lately that I do with my blogs - killing spams, thinking of what to write next, and how to utilise my blog space for some other things. I don’t want to get my blogs all jumbled up, while at the same time, trying to maximise what i can have on the available space on my blogs as well.
I’m kinda looking at the stats more frequently now to find out what’s bring people to my blogs, especially the search engine hits using particular keywords. It seems that people that come to my blogs have wild imaginations. I’ll reveal that later. For now, let me see what i can with this keyword - ASB. I thought it’s some keywords, like Breguet or something.
