Adsense code
Probably i haven’t been paying much attention to Google Adsense that i didn’t noticed that i could customise whatever i want for my Adsense, copy the code and paste on my sites, and just modify the code from Adsense control panel without ever touching the code on my sites. Neat!
I just recently discovered that when i tried to revive whatever Adsense skills that i have and tried to incorporate in my other sites. If you haven’t noticed, my main blog is still very much Adsense-free, but i’m thinking of changing that. Maybe i’ll start with something mild. Maybe something insignificant.

Adsense again
I’m re-looking into making Google Adsense working for me again, after didn’t really pay much attention to it earlier on. Still didn’t really make a lot of sense to me, although at least now, i know what to do and where to find the resources to help me become better.
My main problem still remain - driving traffic. I know i don’t update much anymore these days - something i intend to change, but i’m really trying to drive traffic to my sites as much as possible. Some of the keywords are working very well, while the other sites are still driving some organic traffic albeit me neglecting them for some time.

Tweaking ads
I started tweaking the Adsense ads in my Chicks Galore! to see if I can get any difference in CTR. This is part of my site tweaking to see if i can maximise or at least, get some more out of my blogs. Currently, i have many ideas running off my head like i just open up Delta faucets and let it run. What did i do first?
I tried different ad format, which i’ve used before previously. I’ll just leave the ads there for 1-2 weeks and see if there’s any difference in clicks. Of course, i’ve got to consistently update the blog and work on the keywords that got people to land on the blogs as well. Without that, there’s no traffic - without traffic, there won’t be any clicks, and if there’s no click, obviously there’s no money.
See if i got any luck with those ![]()
Playing more with Adsense
I haven’t really been optimising Google Adsense as much as i’d like to. Although i have no more employee performance evaluations to worry about, but i still have a lot of other things to look at, like my kinda-new hobby of anything GPS
Anyway, not to say that takes the centre stage now, but somehow it does “help” in any delay that i needed to do to put some ka-chings in my pocket.
If you have been following me, i didn’t have much Google Adsense ads on my sites. In fact, in my main blog, i have none at all. And i think i’m kinda losing out as i have some odd traffics coming in daily. As for this site, i guess it’s more to fine-tuning to get more relevant ads served, and definitely got to still work on the trafic. There’s some decent one coming, but nowhere as much as the other related sites.
For now, it’s traffic, and Google PR. I’m working hard towards both this year, and see what it will bring
Blessing in disguise?
The fact that PayPerPost doesn’t have any much interesting opps to take (except 1K Tuesday and Worldwide Wednesday to look for!), i have more time to look into the layouts of my blogs, and explore other avenues as well. If you haven’t noticed yet, I’ve already incorporated Adsense into this blog (although minimal, and I think i’ll keep it this way).
Yesterday, I actually have the chance to play around with LinkWorth. Although nothing actually comes in yet, at least i know now that it could come in anytime now, and the fact that I have the time yesterday makes me not put it off any longer.
Now, i’m going back to incorporate Adsense in my main blog. It has been Adsense-free for some time now - i’d like to see if there’s any difference in the viewership ![]()
Fengshui in Adsense
Sometimes I do wonder, is there such a thing as fengshui in Adsense? I haven’t got much luck with Adsense - even with some very nice thought-out templates, i’m still getting meagre clicks from Adsense. And while I didn’t get much traffic to start with, I could start seeing some changes in Adsense clicks in my accounts these days.
