What I did with the money from PayPerPost?
You know, what i’d really like to do with the money that i got from PayPerPost would be a) get a holiday b) get a life c) get out of job and do stuffs by myself and still not starve to death. But really and seriously, I could use the money for PayPerPost in many ways. Maybe i could go out and get that new 42″ LCD TV that i’d like to get when i moved to my new house.
Maybe I could use the money to decorate my new house next. What’s sure for now is, the money that i get monthly from PayPerPost were used to settle my bills. Yeah - include credit card bills in there too. Yeah - a lot of people don’t know that by blogging and being in blog network pays quite nicely as well. Let’s pay they continue paying and there’s advertisers that will pay me for advertisement for long time to come.

Google PR update?
I was at my sifu’s site when i noticed she’s writing about Google PR update. So what I did? I quickly went to check if Google Grandma will hit me hard, since i’ve been writing paid posts and stuffs. I checked and the result:
ashotiwoth.com/blog - still PR4
ashotiwoth.info - still PR3
I don’t know - maybe Google haven’t finished updating yet. Maybe I survived. Maybe I’m lucky. I shudder at the thought of losing PR. Cia lat.
Don’t want to worry anything much unnecessary. Maybe i should just go look around for christmas gift ideas. That should help. Brrrr….
Related Posts plugin
I made one simple mistake when i started my Chicks Galore blog - I didn’t install the Related Posts plugin. And while i can get traffic, i don’t get the visitors to stay at my blog. But with the plugin (which i just installed and activated it like 1 week ago), i’m starting to see result. See the chart below for Chicks Galore.
Noticed how the pageviews (in orange) shot up starting 26th Sept, especially today. Power of Related Posts plugin. I wanted to give you the link to download, but unfortunately, the host site is down for now - i’ll update the link here once i have the full URL. Install it if you want your visitors to stay longer on your blog.
Now, let me go and think up what tattoo idea do i want to use to tattoo on myself ![]()
PayPerPost >US1K
I just noticed that PayPerPost have paid me more than US$1000 when I logged in this morning.
I’ve joined PayPerPost and start writing for them since February. I guessed it’s not bad at all, considering I started like 7 months ago. On average, they have paid me about US$150/month, which, i guessed, it’s not bad at all considering i’m doing this part time
And this definitely is not the end - there’s more to come in the future! ![]()
Blog marathon
It’s almost like i’m doing marathon, but using blog. I’m writing posts back to back at my main blog. I never actually know that I have creative minds and never thought I could do some comics
Anyway, just felt like ranting something here.
I have been using the KonaFilter to filter out Kontera ads from my paid posts. So far, I think it work pretty well. Except, i haven’t actually see any clicks just yet. Perhaps i need to give the Kontera bot more time to crawl on my site. Besides, they are doing maintenance and i can’t really see my stats.
3, then 2, then back to 3 again?
I was busy looking at my PayPerPost dashboard when i noticed the blogpost by Mr Fabulous saying that we can now take max 3 opps per day again.
But when I went to the Terms of Service page, it’s still listed as max 2 opps per day.
Frequency of Posts. You may post a maximum of two (2) PayPerPost Marketplace Opportunity-related posts per blog in any given day. PayPerPost posts may not appear consecutively on your Blog. Each PayPerPost post must be immediately preceded and immediately followed by at least one non-sponsored, original content post. ‘Sponsored’ posts apply to both PayPerPost Direct and Marketplace Opportunities, as well as other sponsored posts from competitive services.
I think i’ll stick to 2 first for now, until any confirmation from PayPerPost.
Updated:
This is what i got one my desktop computer (i was blogging on my notebook last night) - so i guessed i can go back to 3? By the way, the TOS still says 2.

Blessing in disguise?
The fact that PayPerPost doesn’t have any much interesting opps to take (except 1K Tuesday and Worldwide Wednesday to look for!), i have more time to look into the layouts of my blogs, and explore other avenues as well. If you haven’t noticed yet, I’ve already incorporated Adsense into this blog (although minimal, and I think i’ll keep it this way).
Yesterday, I actually have the chance to play around with LinkWorth. Although nothing actually comes in yet, at least i know now that it could come in anytime now, and the fact that I have the time yesterday makes me not put it off any longer.
Now, i’m going back to incorporate Adsense in my main blog. It has been Adsense-free for some time now - i’d like to see if there’s any difference in the viewership ![]()
Linkworth - see if it’s worth the time
I took my sifu’s advice and just go ahead and play with Linkworth. After filling up what feels like tonnes of forms - maybe i’m exaggerating a bit, but it’s a lot - i submitted a few of my sites and see if it gets approved. I don’t know yet what Linkworth can really do for me - i can’t wait to find out though.
Kinda confusing, yes, but probably I’ll just stick to LinkPost, LinkAds and LinkInTxt. And oh - my Chicks Galore! & my main blog has already been approved. Let’s see what I can do with Linkworth.
And - don’t ask yet if this is making money for me - i didn’t know just yet ![]()
Nuffnang ads new look
I don’t know whether it’s a new thing or what, but i just noticed something different to the Nuffnang ads on my blogs. If you noticed, there’s a Nuffnang ads on the right side bar on this blog, but there’s a small “I served Nuffnang Ads” box in the centre bar of my main blog.
I personally think that it looks kinda cool, and space-saving. I’ll probably add more Nuffnang ads around my blog, with this new space-saving, shrinking ad type
