August online income report

Paypal with updated image
I just noticed about the change on PayPal’s logo when I logged into their site just now. If you haven’t noticed yet, PayPal actually revamp the layout some time back, while still keeping their old logo.

Almost got that US$50 post, again!
And that’s about it - ALMOST!
I almost got it again! Kanasai - US$50 post unsegmented and more importantly, still in white, unreserved colour, doesn’t come by so often. I was so happy that I clicked on it immediately, and waited like forever for it to load the opportunity page. And another forever after i clicked on Reserve Opportunity and keyed in the Captcha key to reserve.
Just to be served with this phrase in red:
“All of the available posts for that opportunity have already been taken.”
Maybe i should really take a break, and check in to any condo hotels and just forget about this. *sigh*
And oh - in case you are confused on what I’m talking about, i’m referring to PayPerPost 1K Tuesday.

Suffer a bit
I neglected one thing that i should be doing in blogging - visit other related blogs & comment. Thus, I can see that traffic coming in to my blogs somehow suffer a bit, and that really shows in Alexa ranking. I noticed the drop when i slowed down my paid posts like 2-3 months back. Partly due to my intermittent internet connection as well.
What’ll have to do now is to swallow some hoodia pills, skip lunch (and dinner maybe) and start visiting people’s blogs and clicking blog links at PetalingStreet.org. I used to do that a lot when the Internet connection was more stable. I guessed I have to go back to that time, with my Internet connection now more stable.
More traffic, more exposure, more chance? 
No idea
There has been too many debts and loans opportunities in PayPerPost recently that I think twice in taking any opportunities from them these days. I don’t know - probably I have taken a few myself that I have somehow out of idea on what to write about them anymore.
Anyway, i think that’s part of what you have to do if you want to earn some money from blogging. I actually think it’s great as it really induced my mind to think further before actually writing.
Hmm… thinking again, maybe i should get another lcd monitor so that it’s easier for me to do stuffs - play games or watching movie on full screen while watching closely for any new opportunities on another screen Sounds crazy right?
I almost got the US$500 post!!!
And that’s about it - almost. I was practically happy because I saw the US$500 post still not reserved, and quickly went and click to reserve, input the Captcha codes and waited……..and i didn’t get it! 
Really can’t believe it. Now, to bury my sorrow, i’ll go buy a popcorn machine, make lots of popcorns, and eat till my stomach bloated.
And I’ll wait somemore……
133 opps!
I think I’ve never seen this much opps before!
The most i’ve ever seen is still <100 - 80 or 90 opps. I was very surprised to see 142 opps this morning! And i think a lot will stay stay since PPP now limits 2 opps per day. So i think i'll be seeing more opps later :) At least, I don't have to be stressed that I need to pull my hair out, and need to worry about getting hair transplants.
Maybe it’s a good thing - but it’s still early in the week! But at least, I don’t have to go around looking for opps everywhere - i’ve been looking for opps everywhere, including under poker tables! Virtual ones, of course….
Terms refresher
I have been writing for PayPerPost long enough, and I guessed maybe it’s time to re-visit some of the terms as a refresher. Don’t get me wrong - i do read the terms when I signed up with them back in February, but you’ll never know for sure what you may missed if they do any update. Like if you have done something for long and you think that you’ve already well-versed with whatever you are doing (example, plasma cutting), you tend to overlook what you do. So it’s best that i re-visit the terms again.

More Nuffnang ads
Nuffnang is really good at getting advertisers. First it’s just normal advertisers, then they managed to grab those big names like Pensonic & now Firefly. If you haven’t noticed yet, there’s a Firefly ad on top of this blog. And I think it looks good Good enough to attract clicks, I guessed - but you’ll never know for sure as you can see the clicks info real time. Hmm… when would Nuffnang deals up with some goverment agencies and have something to help with drug rehabs?
But it’s always good to know that at least, we could have a decent continuous income with Nuffnang. Maybe not much, but at least it’s better than none. I’m looking forward to getting my first Nuffnang check, what’s more with the lower payout threshold. I don’t know when I’ll reach the RM50 payout requirement, but I’m definitely looking forward to it.
Will try to keep more visits coming to my sites for as long as I could
PayPerPost - target US & UK market only?
I noticed lately there’s a lot of opps in PayPerPost, but it’s just that they have this additional condition in the requirement - only US or UK blog may write on some particular opps. And those opps are the higher paying ones. I don’t know if it’s some kind of preferential treatment around here, but it somehow annoys me to not be able to take an opps that I’m technically qualified.
Maybe it’s partly related to the intermittent Internet connection in my home too, but i’m starting to feel like there’s less opps for me to take lately, and lesser things for me to write. While I still have stuffs to write, i don’t think i’m gonna hit my previous months target again and save some money for investment property.
I guessed I have to just keep on writing, money or no money
